Jennifer Aniston: Speaking Up

A lot of mixed reactions are being released to JA’s recent comments in Oprah about Angelina Jolie being “very uncool”.  This, in the aftermath of a recent Jolie interview where “Mrs. Smith” talked about how she can tell her children in the future while watching Mr. and Mrs. Smith that “this is where daddy and mommy fell in love”.

To me, “uncool” was still too classy.  How Jen.  If it were any other celebrity, I doubt they would have used that word.  Inappropriate.  Slutty.  But uncool?  Still a very classy answer from a woman whose husband of 100 Hollywood years was stolen by a woman who is still not speaking to her father because he cheated on her mother.  Oh yeah, hypocritical.  Perfect word!

JA has not spoken a word since this all started, and now that she has, she says this, and people are rooting for her more than ever.  Yeah it’s about time too, they say.  Miss lips has suddenly been put in her proper place.  JA hasn’t even said anything to put ex Brad in a bad light.  How many women can have that kind of restraint?  I wouldn’t say anything bad about an ex myself, but I would have very sarcastic comments here and there, that’s for sure.

I personally am on Team Aniston.  Always have been.  She has remained a rock despite all that has been reported and said about her and them.  Always takes the high road and never a destructive word.  Always classy.  Never trashy and never “uncool”.

Here’s to you, JA!  Very cool indeed.
